For Turkish Applicants

• Bachelor's degree (at least 4-year undergraduate program).*
• Grade Point Average (GPA) must be at least 2.30 out of 4.00.
• ALES score must be at least 65 in EW / Quant. / Qual. type (GMAT / GRE equivalent is accepted). **
• YÖKDİL, YDS or e-YDS (English, French or Arabic) score must be at least 55 for the Turkish program. Official scores received from other examinations recognized by YÖK are also accepted.
• The Scientific Evaluation Exam score must be at least 60. General Evaluation score must be at least 65.
• The candidate must submit a letter of intent (750-1,000 words in Turkish). The letter must be uploaded to the system during the application,
• * In accordance with the University regulations, students may be required to take some introductory courses for a maximum of two semesters before starting the graduate program.
• ** ALES score is valid for 5 years. ALES is not required for foreign applicants.
• ***YDS and e-YDS scores are valid for 5 years.

For International Applicants

 

 

For foreign (non-Turkish citizen) students, the requirements for application are:

• Bachelor's degree (at least 4-year undergraduate program).
• Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.30 out of 4.00.
• A letter of intent (750-1,000 words in Turkish). The letter must be uploaded to the system during the application.
• Turkish exams of "Turkish Center TÖMER" of the Universities of the Turkish Republic or Language Teachıng App. and Res.Center of  ASBU (DİLMER) must be at least the level C1 in Turkish.
• 100 TL nonrefundable application fee paid to IBAN TR76 0001 2009 4110 0006 0000 14. The program’s annual tuition is 6,000 TL.

Application Calendar and Evaluation

The application page becomes active in the period when the applications are accepted.

The applications start each year in June/July according to the calendar determined by the Senate of the University. The university website must be followed for the dates of the application calendar.

Applicants are ranked based on an initial evaluation carried out by weighting 50% of ALES score and 50% of GPA.  After applications are accepted, a science exam is held on the announced date. The application results are determined by weighting 50% of ALES score, 20% of GPA, and 30% of science exam score. Based on this evaluation, candidates who have earned a score of 65 and above are deemed successful. Successful candidates are ranked according to general evaluation scores.

Application Calendar and Evaluation

Applications are accepted throughout the year.

After applications are accepted, the application results are determined by weighting 20% of GPA, and 80% of science exam score. Based on this evaluation, candidates who have earned a score of 65 and above are deemed successful. Successful candidates are ranked according to general evaluation scores. The evaluation of applications is made by taking into account the acceptance criteria of the program and the international student quota. The evaluation result will be sent to the candidate's e-mail address.
